Pet Microchipping
Microchipping gives a greater opportunity for you and your pet to be reunited if they go missing or are stolen.
Dogs, Cats and The Law
Since 6 April 2016 all dogs in England must be microchipped and their details registered on one of the authorised databases.
The law for cat microchipping is to be set by the end of 2021.
Under the law owners must keep their details up to date on the database. Police and animal welfare officers/ dog wardens will be issued with microchip reader scanners so that enforcement of the law can be carried out. The owner will get an opportunity (21 days) to get the dog or cat microchipped, if their dog or cat is found without a chip. After which a £500 fine for failing to comply will be issued.

I have been a certified microchip implanter since 2007. I am experienced in microchipping cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, rabbits and ferrets. I register all microchips with Petlog. The largest database in the UK.
I can advice on microchipping and how to use the database effectively.
I can also scan any found pets, to help reunite them with their families.
